Overview of Laundry Network Pte Ltd
Initial Development (1979-1997)

Laundry Network Pte Ltd was founded in 1979 and launched its first subsidiary, Systematic Cleaners, to provide coin laundry and drycleaning services. This subsidiary was later rebranded as Systematic Laundromat, with a focus on laundry franchise operations. In 1995, with support from the National Productivity Board, Systematic Laundromat introduced its Laundry Franchise System, leading to the successful expansion of the brand to over 40 franchise locations.
To further support its growing operations, Systematic Laundry was established to develop a central laundry and dry-cleaning facility. This plant has been instrumental in supporting the franchise system and delivering laundry services to hotels, serviced apartments, country clubs, and international airlines.
Innovation & Growth (1997-2014)
In 1997, the company diversified by forming Ladrin System Planners and the TCA Textile Care Training Centre, enhancing its consultancy and training offerings. In 2008, it received an RFID Innovation Platform Grant, leading to the development of a cutting-edge RFID management system that revolutionized uniform counting and tracking. This innovation positioned the company as the official laundry provider for the 12th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Singapore and later introduced RFID garment tracking at the 1st Youth Olympic Games in 2013.
In 2009, Laundry Network established a 30,000 sq ft garment processing plant in Woodlands Spectrum, becoming the first Singapore laundry company to adopt RFID technology for high-volume uniform processing, handling 20,000 to 30,000 uniforms daily from Resorts World Sentosa. A new Healthcare Laundry plant was opened in 2011 to serve Alexandra Hospital and the National Skin Centre. Responding to the demand from the influx of foreign labour, the company set up mega dormitory laundries in various locations in 2013, providing services to over 35,000 dormitory residents.
Business Segment Realignment (2015-present)​
By 2015, Systematic Laundry had become one of Singapore’s largest laundries, with a daily output exceeding 100 tons. That year, Laundry Network strategically sold its subsidiary Systematic Laundry, along with its facilities and contracts, to CBM Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of publicly listed City Development Pte Ltd.
From 2016 onward, Laundry Network shifted its focus to Laundry System Design, Laundry Operation Review, Laundry Engineering Services, Laundry Turnkey Projects, & Laundry Training Program undertaking numerous projects across Singapore, the Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.
